He prided himself on keeping his single-owner 1970 Mustang running (a gift from his mother); painting and repairing it himself. Rolf was a competitive Paul Feller fencer and was a great fan of complex video gaming. He taught himself in the use of CAD, databases, and most lighting controllers. Sometimes a scenic artist with a discriminating eye for color, Rolf could also repair untold esoteric devices found only in theatre buildings. His dear mother, Viola passed away before Rolf in 2020 and was the only family any of his local friend-family ever knew. So we, his friend-family, are honor-bound to celebrate the private and talented Rolf.

On Tuesday, a crew leader on a field on the west side of Santa Maria noticed three unmarked vehicles parading through the fields and suspected that they were ICE officers, according to Diaz. The crew leader alerted other supervisors, and while some employees fled the fields, some were taken into custody, Diaz said. In the meantime, Talkin said the Foodbank is doing everything it can to provide for the county and its residents. He was so incredibly knowledgeable of the historic Granada building, having truly trod the boards in both the original structure and the renovated version we now know, all the while preserving it as the beauty we all appreciate today.

She said the city never said in writing or otherwise that if Metropolitan Theatre left that it would void her lease. Even though Cookie Plug had a lease through 2029 with MTC, Rodriguez said the city surmised that the sublease ended when the city declined to renew the master lease in September.
